Creating Laser Engraved Mockups Online

Ready to create your designs online? 

In this video, I will guide you through our new dynamic mockups on Collab Customs. You can now easily create laser engraved and uv printed products online. I will show you how to select mockups, customize designs, and export them.

Step-by-Step Guide for Using the Dynamic Mockups Feature on Collab Customs.com

**1. Accessing the Mockups Tool**

- Go to https://collabcustoms.com

- Navigate to the "Dynamic Mock-ups" section on the homepage on the top toolbar and click on it.

- You will see all available mockups that can be used to create laser engraved or UV-printed products. Use the left panel to browse different product categories, such as "40oz Stanley-LaserEngrave" or "20ozYeti-LaserEngrave."

**2. Selecting a Product for Mockup**

- Choose from the mockups displayed. We are continuously adding new products to this library.

- For this walkthrough, let’s start with the Laser Engraved HYDRO tumbler.

**3. Adding and Adjusting Artwork**

- On the product page, select the "+" button to add artwork.

- Upload your desired design.

- Adjust the size or position of the artwork by clicking and dragging it. You can also snap it to the center for precise placement. Note: The numbers below the preview are not used for any design adjustments.

- Note: This adjustment does not affect any designs on our app, or your connected stores like Etsy or Shopify; it’s only for creating mockups on this page.

**4. Changing Product Colors**

- We’ve provided a page on our website (https\://collabcustoms.com/hex-codes/) with all product color hex codes under "Resources and Hex Codes."

- Open this page in a new tab, find the hex code for your desired product color, copy it, and paste it into the mockup editor. Use the "+" button to add the color code.

- Alternatively, you can use the color picker tool to manually adjust colors using the color wheel for fine-tuning.

- This helps accurately visualize the product in different colors. If needed, you can further adjust the color to match your preferences.

**5. Customizing Backgrounds**

- You have the option to add or remove a background.

- For instance, if you want just the tumbler with a simple or no background, select the background option and choose your preference.

- You can even upload your own background or use the pre-set ones available, such as festive scenes (e.g., the Grinch holding the tumbler) to add seasonal or themed elements to your mockups.

**6. Creating Mockups with Hand or Scene**

- Select a product like the Stanley-style tumbler.

- You will see a background option, allowing you to select a specific setting (e.g., beach or desk background).

- Position your product and adjust its size to match the background as desired.

- If you don’t want the background, simply delete it and proceed with exporting.

**7. Exporting the Mockup**

- Whether your mockup has a background or not, click the "Export Mockups" button located in the top-right corner of the screen. This will render the final mockup with higher clarity and detail.

- The mockup can now be downloaded and used for product listings on your online store, such as Etsy or Shopify.

**8. Using Exported Mockups**

- Once exported, the mockups are ready to be used in your listings or promotional materials.

- You can further edit them in graphic design software like Canva or Photoshop for additional customization if needed.

**9. Providing Feedback**

- We appreciate your input! Please use the "Feedback Ticket" feature on the site if you have questions, comments, or suggestions.

- We are also working on adding more AI and API integrations to streamline your workflow, such as pushing designs directly from tools like Canva.
